This steering wheel will fit any year H1 Hummer or Humvee
It is OEM and does not require any adapter kit
This kit will relocate the horn from the cruise stalk to the middle of the steering wheel.
This wheel is just like the "Alpha" wheel, but in solid/soft vinyl. This thing is heavy and should last forever.
It's very thick and has an excellent feel. If you have one of the old crappy-stock wrapped wheels -- you'll love this wheel.
Parts supplied:
1. Instructions
2. Horn Brush Contact
3. Screw
4. Steering wheel
5. H1 emblem/logo horn button
Installation instructions are simple:
1. Remove screws on your steering wheel cove then remove the wheel
2. Remove the nut securing the steering wheel column
3. Lower the closeout panel.
4. Remove the screws securing the shroud
5. Disconnect the original horn switch/harness that is attached to the turn signal stalk.
6. Install the new horn brush contact in the brush plate and secure with the screw provided.
7. Connect the contact connector to the harness.
8. Install the new steering wheel and tighten the main steering nut.
9. Plug the horn button wires in and install the center "H1" button
10. Put the shroud and the close out panel back in place.
There you go, should take the novice mechanic 30 minutes.
